A Memorandum of Understanding initiated by the Department of Applied Psychology was signed between Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and Saleem Memorial Hospital (SMH), Lahore.  This memorandum aims to make SMH and LCWU flag bearers of advancement in collaborative work among the fields of health care, education, environment and behavioral sciences. It will also promote multidisciplinary research to be carried out between clinicians & faculty/students of the two organizations. Moreover, it will assist in human resource training in various fields. 

MoU was penned by Mr. Shahzad Saleem, Chairperson SMH who shared that under this collaboration, SMH will provide OPD & IPD medical services to the employees of Lahore College for Women University, their spouses and children under age 21 with significant discounts in services related to Laboratory (OPD & IPD), Radiology and Radiation Oncology.

Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam and Department of Applied Psychology and expressed hope that the MoU will be very fruitful for LCWU.
