The Department of Graphic Design within the Institute of Design and Visual Arts at Lahore College for Women University hosted an Arts and Design Exhibition titled 'Palestine Lives Matter.' This exhibition, dedicated to Palestine, featured the artistic creations of students that shed light on the challenges Palestinians face due to oppression and the hardships of war.
The exhibition's inauguration was graced by Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz as the guest of honor. Mr. Ziaullah Khan Toru, the Director of Urdu Science Board, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences LCWU, Prof Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi, Dean Faculty of Islamic and Oriental Learning LCWU were also warmly welcomed as respected guests.
The artwork presented by the students received widespread acclaim for its poignant portrayal of this sensitive subject. Attendees expressed their appreciation for the student's efforts and also commended the dedication of Dr. Aisha Sadiqa, the Chairperson of the Graphic Design Department.
