The Fatima Jinnah Historical Society of the History Department at Lahore College for Women University, Lahore, and the Institute of Community with Shared Future, Communication University of China (CUC), Beijing, China, jointly organized the essay competition on "The Historical Connectivity between the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the old Silk Route traditions," which took place in January 2024, have announced their winners. The goal of this competition was to promote intellectual interchange and cross-cultural understanding by examining the deep historical ties that exist between the ancient Silk Route customs and the current BRI program. The winning essays highlight the importance of historical continuity in forming modern global contacts and development plans since they were chosen for their in-depth research and creative insights.
