On October 10, 2024, The Centre for Career Counseling and Job Placement in collaboration with the Department of Elemantary and Teacher Education arranged an information session on the recruitment of Leadership for Social Uplift (LSU) Fall cycle 2024. For that matter, Ms. Moneeza Burney Director LSU visited LCWU and briefed students about LSU and its community services initiatives including their Community Service Initiative Program (CSI), Youth Leadrship Program and Peer Mentorship Program. The session was attended by the students of Biotechnology, Sociology, English, Gender Studies and Elementary Education. Ms. Burney, explained that the deadline to LSU fall cycle has been extended to October 13 and offered special discount to LCWU students upon registration.
